Hello, my name is Bengi (pronounced ben-GHEE) and I am a new-grad RN moving to Rochester this spring. Starting July 1, I will be renting a house right in the heart of the city (in Kutzky Park), which is less than 10 minutes walking from St. Mary's, and I am looking for a roommate to live with me.
A bit about me: I am from Minnesota but have spent the last three years in Chicago finishing my MSN; I have lived with both men and women in the past and have had no issues; I'm an incredibly clean / tidy extrovert who also recognizes the importance of giving people their space; I enjoy being active outside, especially in the summer; I love cooking; I have two cats.
The house has 4 BR and 1 Bath. The main level has two bedrooms and the sole bathroom. Upstairs has two bedrooms, each w/ lots of natural light. The basement has free laundry and lots of storage space. The living room (on the main level) has a nice non-functional fireplace. The kitchen has a gas stove and dishwasher with plenty of countertop space. Finally, the backyard has two small garden beds, which the owner will likely use to plan some vegetables this season. See attached photos.
Total rent is $1,500 per month (so $750/person). No utilities are included, so tenants pay heat, electricity, internet, water, garbage / recycling.
The landlord will be responsible for snow removal of the sidewalks and the narrow driveway, as well as lawn care.
There are three (3) free parking spaces in the back: one for me, one for you, and another for a guest.
Any questions? Please let me know.
