Open Enrollment communication will “Go Green” this fall, replacing the printed benefits guide that is provided to benefits-eligible employees each year with an online version.
David Schuitema, Chair of Total Rewards, emphasizes that while the method of delivery is changing, information on Open Enrollment is expanding. “Our goal is to ensure that employees have the information they need to make these very important benefits elections and or changes,” says Schuitema. “Information can be found in the online guide itself, as well as through short videos, HR Connect, and Benefits University classes offered in the fall.”
Changing the way that Open Enrollment communication is delivered will make the best use of the resources available while creating a cost-savings for Mayo Clinic. Announcements and reminders will still be delivered by mail to ensure that all benefits-eligible employees are aware of the upcoming Open Enrollment and other news from the Total Rewards Team.
