Do you know how to estimate your pension benefit?

Did you hear that in December the Total Rewards team at Mayo Clinic launched a new pension estimator? If you’ve ever felt confused about what your pension benefit might be in retirement but don’t know where to start, you’ve heard about the pension estimator but haven’t used it, or maybe you like to check your estimate all the time; regardless of which of those applies to you, join us at our upcoming Benefits University to learn more about Your Pension Estimator.

Attend this session to learn all about the updated tool! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 23, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Central Time.

If you can’t tune in live, the recorded session will be placed on the Video Exchange a few days after the event.

A few details about the new Your Pension Estimator:

The name has not changed, and the link to “Your Pension Estimator” is still found on HR Connect under HR System Links. With the launch of the new tool came many improvements, as well as a few important changes:

  • Login is no longer required. Once you select the link, Your Pension Estimator will automatically open to your account thanks to secure single sign-on features.
  • Beneficiaries can now be added directly into the tool. If you designated a beneficiary previously using a paper beneficiary form, it will still be valid but will not be listed in Your Pension Estimator until you enter it.
  • For now, access will be available only through a Mayo computer, with future opportunities to access being explored.

Join us on 1/23/18 and we'll discuss these items and more!

Note: The Mayo Pension Plan does not apply to union-represented employees in Albert Lea Service Employees International Union (SEIU) (general and maintenance), Austin United Steel Workers (USW) - Service, and Franklin Heating Station.
