I've never been before but am planning a trip this summer. Any recommendations? Any activities in addition to kayaking? Camping suggestions? Other places to visit and things to do up north? Thank you.

We drove up along the north shore from Duluth to Michigan border. We were hoping to kayak at Apostle Islands. Call ahead because you will need to schedule everything ahead of time and we did not. The beach area actually was pretty cool and we ended up just hanging out there for a while. Nice sunny day. If you keep going east along the 13 you will come into this adorable town of Bayfield. Picture perfect town. I wish we could have spent the day there!! Very cute.
