It has been a few years, but there was a fantastic seafood restaurant in Islamorada, which is 1/2 way between Key West and the mainland. Great stone crab! If it's still there, it's definitely worth looking forward to. Every night all the tourists and some of the locals gather at the west end of the island to watch the sunset. It's very pretty....

We must have hit the same restaurant...it has a big outdoor deck on the waterfront with unobstructed views of the sunset? And fabulous seafood! Our first time there I tried coconut shrimp for the first time (probably 25 years ago now) and they were colossal, succulent and perfectly cooked! I'm not a big foodie, so I only rave about a handful of places...this is one of them!
