I moved from Texas too and started in November 5th! What unit are you on? I took the NCLEX mid October and you get your results a few days after. Then you just need the temporary permit to be able to start. Which you get immediately once you pay the endorsement fee after your name is officially on the TBON website. Since you are a new grad you have the least paperwork having not been a nurse before. It’s the easiest way. Takes like 3 weeks. Then you can move here and handle the background check and all that. The fingerprints always slow the process down. Idk what your timeline is but I was pressed to take it and didn’t know all I needed was the permit.
