Looking to adopt a dog

Is anyone aware of any good shelters or rescues near Rochester, Mn? I am looking to adopt a fully trained dog to keep me company in my new job and apartment! Any ideas of places or recommendations welcome! TIA

I looked on all of these earlier, but the selection is very small. I live in an apartment, and almost 80-90% of the dogs need a fenced in place because they are so high energy!

We moved here in January and adopted a dog in April from PCHS (Paws and Claws Humane Society). They were excellent to work with!

I got one of my dogs from Mower County Humane Society in Austin, MN. Adoption fees were a little more affordable and they really care about the animals. You can find them on facebook, and to get there it's I think the first Austin exit on I90, about 30 minutes west from Rochester.

We also adopted our dog from Paws and Claws, I have only good emotions from our communication
