Looking for friends!

Hey guys! I’m new to Rochester and just started a LPN position here at Mayo! It’s been hard making friends with Covid going on so I thought I’d introduce myself. I’m 19 and just moved here from northern Minnesota. I love to spend time outside and exploring the area. I’m also currently taking classes at RCTC to get my RN. I’m hoping to eventually become a travel labor and delivery nurse. If anyone wants to hangout and meet other people new to Rochester I’d love to meet at a restaurant or something sometime!

Hi! My name is Jade. I'm 26, and I went to middle school here and I just moved back in January to the northwest side of town. I'm going to RCTC in the fall as well. I'm going for Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counseling. I work as a screener overnights usually in the ER or Mary Brigh, but I work panamas so I'm usually free at least half the week 🙂

Oh that's awesome! Where in upstate, NY? We like it a lot so far - everyone is very nice and it seems very safe.

Thats great to hear!! I went to Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva NY and spent a lot of time in Rochester, Syracuse and Vestal!

Oh, wow thats really close to where I'm from, one of my cousins actually went to school there as well, I wonder if you know him?

Hii my name is Evelyn I'm 22yrs old and I'm going to start in Rochester on October 15th. I might be moving in mid-September though. I would love to explore Rochester maybe we can walk around the city. Im coming from Chicago!
