Rod, when the claim is received by Medica, they will first apply the payment rules from our plan (deductible, coinsurance) and then consider the payment made by your primary plan to determine if any additional payment is due. If you have met the deductible in another plan, you would still need to meet the deductible in the Mayo Medical Plan before benefits would be paid.
