New Grad RN (July 2022)

Hey y’all! I’m Darrin, I’ll be starting with Mayo for my RN residency program in the ED in July. Just wanted to say hi and make some connections. I’m sure we’ll all get to know each other in the classes that we have to attend. If anyone knows of any apartments close to Mayo or within a 20 minute drive I would be super grateful. I’m moving from Colorado, so I don’t know much about Minnesota.

Hello! I am also starting in July, and looking to move out from Wyoming sometime in June. I don't know the area but am hoping to find lots of outdoor activities- as I'm sure you know leaving the mountains behind is hard. I’m still in the process of that as well. I can’t decide if I want to live downtown Or not. It’s a little pricey from what I’ve seen, but I hear the winters there are just brutal.

You’re totally right. I’ve heard there’s some good hiking spots up there though hoping to find some and hoping to find at least one good place to snowboard. As far as roommates, I prefer to live alone, but always be down for make friends to see the city with and get to know people.
