New to Mayo/ Rochester housing

Hey! I’m Logan- moving from Virginia to Rochester in September & starting a job at St Mary’s on the general peds unit in October. I’m posting to see if anyone has good recommendations for apartments they love (I’d love to be in a complex setting to meet people). I also wanted to see if anyone has info on fun stuff to do around town or book clubs/groups that get together/etc. Overall, just looking to meet some nice people and have fun for this next year or two while at Mayo! 🙂

Hi Logan! If you’re still looking for housing, I have a large room with a big walk-in closet available in a 3 bedroom unit at Quarry Ridge Apartments on September 1st. $600-650 per month once utilities are included. Amenities include a fitness center, pool/hot tub, ample parking in a private lot, underground garage space, and washer/dryer in unit.

There is a free shuttle to Mayo as well. It’s about a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to Saint Mary’s.

The area is convenient and quiet. The apartment overlooks the water and there’s a great balcony! Pets are welcome with additional pet rent.
