Looking for a place to stay in Rochester for a year

Posted by priyanshishah @priyanshishah, May 25, 2023

I am going to be starting a year-long position at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN from 25 September, and am looking for a place to stay, that is a walking distance from the hospital. I am looking for something under 700$.

Hey! I'll be moving to Rochester in August. Have you found any leads?

I spent lots of time searching for this apartment and I got a great discount. But life happens, I am not able to move in as planned. The lease has not even started yet… So, this is not a subleasing. Once you sign the lease, the apartment is all yours. You can confirm with leasing office if you would like 🙂 Here are some details:

The Pines is an apartment complex located in the northwest side of Rochester. It is about 10 minutes' drive to Mayo campus. The apartment is in a very safe and nice area (lots of space and greenery), which is conveniently close by Hy-vee (local grocery store), Costco (supermarket) and many other stores and restaurants. The apartment complex includes controlled building access, secure underground parking, fitness centers with on-demand classes, indoor swimming pool and many other great amenities!

The $200 administration fee has been paid in full, the monthly rent is $1379, which includes high-speed Wi-Fi and trash. The rent is currently much cheaper than the market price since I signed the lease with a discount. Tenant's responsibilities only include water/sewer and electricity, which is priced based on individual use.

This adorable apartment, called "Spruce" is 720 sqft and has one bedroom and one bathroom. The lease will start on Aug. 11th and the duration is 11 months.

There are shuttle services readily available throughout the day for pickup and drop-off in both Mayo campuses (St. Mary’s and Methodist) from 5 AM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a great deal in The Pines if you are interested! Especially, this is not subleasing! Besides the rent and utilities, all other costs (admin fee and paperwork processing fee) are on me since I already signed the lease with them (I thought I will for sure move in there)

Please kindly let me know if you have any questions 🙂 Here is my contact info. 571-286-2113.

Thanks,
Amber
