Best Baby Stroller for New Born Babies: Expert Opinions
I’m an expectant parent and have been pretty overwhelmed by the stroller search. I thought I’d just pick one and be done, but after trying a few in stores and reading a bunch i still can’t decide. I want something safe and easy to use especially because I’m recovering from a C-section so lifting heavy stuff is not ideal.
I’ve narrowed it to three practical options (not brand names, just the styles), each has pros and cons:
Graco Modes Pramette Travel System

Safety 1st Smooth Ride Travel System Stroller

Kolcraft Cloud Plus Lightweight Umbrella Stroller

I’m not here to promote anything, just looking for honest help. My main concerns are: newborn neck/head support, ease of folding with one hand, brake reliability, and whether the travel-system was actually worth it for your first few months. Also curious about cleaning any fabrics that stain less, or things that fray after washing?
If you’ve used one of these styles, what surprised you after a few months? Anything you’d warn a new parent about? Tips for testing a stroller in-store that I might be missing? I’d really appreciate real experiences especially from parents who needed something easy during recovery. Thanks so much in advance.
