Challenges facing new employees

Hello everyone,
I was recently accepted into a research trainee position at Minnesota which starts in April. I wanted to ask regarding the main challenges that you faced based on your experience during your first period at Mayo. It would be very helpful for me to explore your perspectives and insights so that I would be prepared to cope with the new experience that I am taking. Any input would be highly appreciated.
