Professional Liability Insurance and Professional Nursing Organization

Hi! I'm a new RN at Mayo, and I recently watched a webinar about Professional Liability Insurance for RNs. This webinar discussed NSO as a good provider of insurance. I was wondering what people's opinions are on professional liability insurance?

Additionally, this webinar talked about joining professional nursing organizations. I have thought about joining the ANA and the MN Board of Nursing. I was also wondering what people's opinions are on joining professional nursing organizations/ANA?
