Roommate in House in NE Rochester - Utilities included!

Posted by jswanson1519 @jswanson1519, Jun 1, 2020

Hi everyone! I'm Jack and I'm a first-year grad Ph.D. student (almost second year!) in the immunology department. I'm looking to rent out a couple of rooms in my house starting any time after August 1st, as my current roommate is finishing up his program. The house is less than two miles away from downtown Rochester and is near a bike trail and bus stop that can easily get you to downtown if you don't have a car. I'm a pretty laid back person, so this space is great for a grad student who likes a quieter home environment. Outside of science, I enjoy swimming, watching sports, and spending time outside.

I'd be renting out a top floor suite in my house with a sitting room and a bedroom. It is furnished with a bed, a desk, a sofa, a TV, and has its own half bathroom (shared shower). To maintain social distancing in the house, my current roommate lives upstairs and I live downstairs, and we share the kitchen and basement/laundry room. I'm open to a roommate of any gender.

Rent would be $680 per month (but open to offers), and all that includes all utilities (heating, water, internet, garbage/recycling, etc.). Please message me if you have questions or if you'd be interested in moving in! Look forward to hearing from you!
