Hi! I moved to Rochester to work at Mayo about 2 years ago and I found it very useful to start out at an Air BnB - the monthly rates aren't much more than rental here and they include EVERYTHING you need - dishes, sheets, towels, etc. This gave me time to check out the area and my new job demands and make a better longer term decision about housing. If you go this route and are ready to make a decision, I own a nice house that offers lots of transportation options to Mayo, I live on the upper level and I lease the lower level to 2 Mayo employees; they have private bedrooms, and share a full kitchen, large living area laundry room and bathroom.
