WomenHeart - Right Here in Your Backyard....

Did you know that the Mayo Rochester Campus annually supports the training and development of WomenHeart Champions? These are outstanding women who live with Heart Disease and champion for change. These women are selected by WomenHeart to represent their Communities, promoting WomenHeart programs (support, advocacy, education). These Champions for change provide patient visits, run support networks, advocate for the underserved, lobby in DC for change and so much more.
This year, WomenHeart is 25 years old, and was named / started in honor of Dr. Nanette Wenger, an absolute legend in Women's Cardiovascular Health.
