Teething

Posted by JOstby @jostby, Apr 11, 2017

Has anyone else had a late teething baby? My 13 month old still has just 1 tooth. We thought she was teething the last few days as more irritable, crying out during night in sleep, and bad diapers, but no new teeth have show up. Not sure if to correlate bad diapers, explosive and looser, with potential teething or something else going on. Of course we are traveling this weekend and don't want her to be miserable the whole time!

Is there any concern teeth coming in later? I recently had a dentist appointment and forgot to ask my dentist and at her 9 month visit provider wasn't worried. Always something to worry about! Hope everyone has a great Easter this weekend.

@jostby uugghhh.....teething! My 14th month old has 6 teeth but he got those at 10 months and hasn't gotten any more. It sounds like we are going through the same thing. My guy is crabby and drooling with swollen gums but no teeth. I keep thinking he should have some pop through but nothing. I think babies all teeth so different and some are faster and some are slower. I wouldn't be concerned if i were you. With my first one i never wanted to give him Tylenol or anything because i didn't want him to give him meds too much but with my second i am much more willing to give him some Tylenol or ibuprofen to help take the edge off if he is miserable. I actually just asked his doctor how many days will teeth pain last and he said about a week or so and then it should get better. Hang in there and have a great Easter as well!!

Anyone know why this posted for me on here? I put my away message on my Outlook for email. Had no clue it would also post on here?
