Furniture-New to Rochester
Hi all, does anyone have any recommendations on where and how to get good (or decent) quality furniture at affordable prices? I moved to Rochester less than a week ago and have no furniture yet. Thanks!

You can try the Mayo classifieds for used furniture. Sometimes there are some good buys there.

1 ReactionI just moved into a smaller place and my furniture arrives on Thursday. There's some items that just will not fit in my new place. I have a large, antique, drop-leaf table, that I'd be happy if you took off my hands.

1 ReactionI will be in Rochester next week doing some house hunting. If @queenngale doesn't want your table, and you really want to get rid of it then I would love to check it out and maybe take it off your hands!

1 ReactionAustin is about 50 miles from Rochester. I can’t speak to the quality or pricing but I noticed a sign on the Rooms And Rest right off I-90 that they are going out of business and everything must go. They probably have lowered prices to get rid of their inventory. May be worth a trip, but I’d call before heading over.
