I Pumped Here

Where have you pumped breastmilk? Have you heard of the #IPumpedHere campaign? After reading some of your responses to lactation rooms, I thought it might be kind of fun to start a thread of the places you have pumped (outside of work or while working).

Twins baseball bathroom stall (first year of stadium and the one mother's room was taken).

Parking lot of Kohls on Black Friday in Bloomington, MN.

Convenience store parking lot in the middle of the night on the way back to MN from Florida (yes, we drove to Florida- no I wouldn't do it again :S)

In the car every day on my commute to Rochester - to and from work. No, I wasn't driving. My husband had that responsibility. And, I think I was successful in not giving any semi drivers a show. 🙂

With both of my boys, this probably means I pumped for over 350 hours in the car and I only spilled one bottle of milk (which as you likely agree, was devastating). I didn't cry over the spilled milk, but I was upset, not only to lose the milk, but because I ruined a pair of suit pants that had a cute matching jacket. 🙁

I had a business trip to Duluth and rode with my boss. He stopped at a few places for me to pump with no luck of finding a place. Finally we stopped at a restaurant and I asked them if there is anywhere I could pump, They brought me to a back section of it and let me pump there. Unfortunately the plug in was on the other side of a walkway but they said no one will walk back here. 5min in two guys fell over my cord and I was so mortified that I stopped pumping and just dealt with not pumping until I was back in my car... 🙁 Other than that I did pump in a parking ramp downtown Rochester once and on my way from and to work once in a while.
