Oreintation transportation in Rochester

Posted by jendu @jendu40, Jan 30, 2019

Hi All,

My first day is on Feb. 11th and I have orientation in Rochester. I was given a bus voucher to park and ride to the Mayo campus in Rochester. The bus schedule and drop of and times are so confusing to me can anyone help me out? I have to go to Charter House and be there at 0730.

I have my orientation then also! I'm unsure how I'm getting their yet either.

Hi! So, if you are coming from out of town you will want to do a park in ride once you get to Rochester. Those routes will be listed with the letter D beside them. 2D,6D etc. there's several park and ride locations and the D means direct, so it takes you straight there and back. They will drop you at the front doors. There's an app on rpt website you can download that's super helpful as well with times.

I was told to park at RCTC and take the bus downtown and then walk to where I need to go. And I believe our orientation will now be at the Double Tree so debating if i should just park there.
