Orientation 2/11 as new nurse & looking to connect w/ other nurses

Hi All!
I am part of the 2/11 orientation group and will be starting as a new nurse. I would love to connect with some other nurses attending the session as well. I will be joining the PCU department. I am originally from northern Iowa, but just relocated from Austin, TX after 15 years and don't know the Rochester area well yet. Good luck to all of us this next week!

Hi @jtracy I am also part of the 2/11 orientation session and will be starting as a nurse as well on the ortho/trauma unit at St. Mary’s. I am from Northern CA and am also brand new to the area. Looking forward to meeting you there! 🙂

Hello All,

I’ll also be at the 2/11 orientation. I am going to part of the Cardiovascular/transplant ICU family. I’m originally from Mississippi but I’ve spent the past two years in New Orleans working on a cardiac step down unit. I’m looking forward to making new friends and starting new adventures. Good luck to all of us on our new career opportunity.

Hi y'all!. l'lm also with the 2/11 Orientation group. I am not a nurse but a Research Technologist. I will be working in the Department of Individualized Medicine. I am originally from Kenya but currently living in Saint Paul, MN with hopes of relocating to Rochester by end of May or whenever I find an apartment.
