Orientation 2/11 as new nurse & looking to connect w/ other nurses
Hi All!
I am part of the 2/11 orientation group and will be starting as a new nurse. I would love to connect with some other nurses attending the session as well. I will be joining the PCU department. I am originally from northern Iowa, but just relocated from Austin, TX after 15 years and don't know the Rochester area well yet. Good luck to all of us this next week!

You guys are going to love it here!!! I work in CVS ICU! If you need a contact person, message me! I started in November with the last group of newbs and still on orientation! It’s A LOT to navigate and harder to do alone. Been there! It’s a magical place (and very challenging), so welcome!

1 ReactionI agree with Alyssa! You are going to love it! I started at the very beginning of December as a nurse in solid organ transplant (Ei 10-2) and LOVE it! It's overwhelming at first but you start to develop a routine and can really take in the knowledge you'll gain being here. I moved from out of state as well and while I'm not starting with this orientation group, I am ALWAYS looking for new friends in the area to explore Rochester with 🙂

Hello! Does anyone know what time the shuttle to downtown arrives/leaves from St. Mary’s in the morning and where it picks up at? I’m planning on trying to catch it downtown in the morning to orientation.
