Good Place to Live

Hi! I know this question is going to be fairly vague, but I am looking to either rent or buy a house in Rochester area. May I get some advice on a good location that strike a balance over the following:
1) Safety
2) Ease of Commute to Mayo Clinic
3) Price
4) Accessibility to restaurants, grocery stores, fitness center, mall etc.
