Best elementary school for STEM in Rochester?

Posted by Julie Vera @julesv, Oct 28, 2019

Hello, we'll be moving to work in Rochester in January. We're looking at schools for our second-grader. We're looking at private and public schools with strong STEM curriculum and low teacher-to-student ratio. Does anyone have recommendations?

I strongly recommend Lincoln K-8. Our son loves it there, and it has a strong STEM curriculum. This is a District-Wide school, so you do need to complete an application and be entered into a lottery. Here is some more information: https://www.rochesterschools.org/academics/district-wide-schools

Thank you very much, I appreciate it! We were looking at Lincoln, Washington and the Catholic schools. Are the class sizes very large?

I don't think they are too large, and I've heard they are smaller than other schools. This could be since they only admit so many students.

Hi may I know is there any specific area we have to reside to get into Lincoln K-8? also do you know what percentage of kids get selected in this school via lottery?
