Dinner at Casablanca restaurant

Last weekend my wife and I participated in one of the most unique dining experiences ever. At a benefit silent auction we won dinner for two at the Mobster table at the Casablanca restaurant. On the certificate it stated that it was a five course dinner. I assumed soup, salad, entrée, main course and desert. NOT...The waitress asked if we had any food allergies and after that was discussed the food started to come out. We started with a croquette for each of us as an appetizer. Then the food started coming...the first plate was a Kobe beef steak with smeared potatoes, next plate was lamb in a brown/gravy sauce with roasted potatoes, next plate was a couple of slices of duck with a heavy sweet sauce and mint on the side and the final entrée was a Monkfish stew. Desert was a five layer banana cake. The servings on all the plates was the perfect size so that you did not feel stuffed or feel like you were over eating. Every entrée was delicious. The service was excellent. The chef came and talked with us a couple of times during the meal. Our table was right off the kitchen and my wife enjoyed watching them prepare our food. You can reserve the Mobster table like we experienced or the Chefs table or dine in the dining room and order off their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
