Payroll Schedule

Actually, if you start on March 16th, you will only have two days completed (assuming you work both Monday and Tuesday of that week) before the pay period ends. Mayo's pay periods are two weeks long, starting on a Wednesday and ending on a Tuesday. Therefore, you will get paid on March 24th, but only for two days. Your first paycheck for a full pay period will come on April 7th.

For some help remembering these dates, IT Connect has an add-on utility for your Outlook Calendar that will add a notation at the top of your calendar window to indicate the beginning of each pay period and when pay days are scheduled. It will also add a note to Mayo observed holidays and include a Orange/Blue calendar schedule (most significant in patient-care areas). I should mention that the great calendar utility tool @BRechtzigel mentions above is only available once you have started your employment and have your email account. 🙂
