Looking for friends!

Hey guys! I’m new to Rochester and just started a LPN position here at Mayo! It’s been hard making friends with Covid going on so I thought I’d introduce myself. I’m 19 and just moved here from northern Minnesota. I love to spend time outside and exploring the area. I’m also currently taking classes at RCTC to get my RN. I’m hoping to eventually become a travel labor and delivery nurse. If anyone wants to hangout and meet other people new to Rochester I’d love to meet at a restaurant or something sometime!

Hi Evelyn!
Small world, I am also from Chicago and will be starting October 12th. I’ve never been to Rochester, but I am excited to explore the city and downtown area. I would love to meet people and make new friends 🙂

Hi,
Nice to meet you all. I have arrived in Rochester yesterday. Starting at Mayo on August 31st.I'm a 28 yr old MD from Egypt.
Rochester is a wonderful place to live and grow.

Hi @carlymadisyn congrats on the new position! I am still semi-new new to Rochester, moved here from the cities just before covid with my Fiance. We are definitely still looking for friends here! most of what we have done down here in spare time is with the Jaycees/JCI volunteering.

I also am going to be starting Spetember 21st. I am new to Minnesota. I moved here in February of this year from North Carolina. So I don't know anyone hardly!
