Can anyone suggest a nice place to look for apartments in Rochester? For someone in their 30's living alone? Thank you!

I currently live at Timberland Heights with my boyfriend. We are moving into a 2 bedroom at Timberland Heights because we needed more space, and it happens that (at least when we were in discussions with the landlord) the two bedroom is actually cheaper than our one bedroom! I feel very safe living here, and management and maintenance are great! We've lived here for a year and half, and our new apartment here will be another year lease 🙂 I'd recommend checking it out, and if you decide to move here, if you mention my name (Sarah Kiehl) I'll get a discount on rent for a month for referring 🙂

You're welcome! There's central AC/heat. Heat is through our electric bill (no gas bill).
Our rent + utilities (garbage, water, sewer, internet, electric) average about$1,000 a month total for our one bedroom. We move into the two bedroom here on September 3rd, and we expect that it will probably end up being about the same, considering our rent for the two bedroom will be lower than what we're paying for the one bed.

Their rates are based on "market value" so it can change day to day, but they'll honor the lower rate they quote you. They recently had a lot of two bedrooms become available, which caused the two bedrooms to drop in price.

Hey I'm in my 30's living alone 🙂 I just signed a lease for a one bedroom at Eastwood Ridge. They offer one month rent free for a one bedroom, two months free for two. Nice spot, gym, outdoor pool, trails nearby and they have free shuttles to Mayo.
