DS 2019 form
Hi,
Does anyone have an idea about how much time it takes for the issuance of the DS 2019 form after completing all the formalities?. I got a message on 1st September on the legal cell web portal stating that J-1 with the Case Manager for DS-2019 issuance. So I was wondering when can I expect my DS because till Monday it will be already 20 days??.

It generally takes 30-45 days.
thank you so much. Actually my start date was 26 October and the embassy wait time is also 2-3 weeks these days. So i was a bit apprehensive.
No worries. You can apply for an emergency appointment with the embassy. You can read the guidelines for emergency visa appointment on their web page and you might be eligible for it. That will cut down the time to just a week, so don't worry much about that.

I have the same issue, but my start date is later than yours. I am also waiting for DS2019 for 20 days. Thanks for your question and thanks @sidag for your info.
