Hi all,
After visiting last week and looking at a ton of apartments I have narrowed it down to 4. Curious on thoughts. For those that Have not started – think about what is include and what are add on costs. Just looking at rent can be deceiving! I have some constraints due to talk and what is available in general in all places.
Closer and Older: Quarry and Granville
– concern with Granville is how far the walk is to the shuttle and because of townhome style how easily will I meet folks
Further and Newer
-SoRoc and Preserve on Maine. Both of which are offering one month free!
.
Hi,
I put together a list of questions then a grid. The thing is prices are very decieving. Some add on fees and some include heat, etc. so important to consider that. There are places north, west, east, south and intown. I liked eastwood and very reasonable it is called which is east but did not have units. That is the other thing I thought I was being clever looking at the end of the month for the upcoming month to get a deal but then I was limited to options.
this is my questions doc. I can not attach as a word but hope this helps

Hi I really liked it too. They only have Lanesboro available which is a bit on the bigger side. I realized I would need to go outside to get to the gym, etc. I like the idea of living at soroc in the main building then I can just go down stairs. Message me off line if you would like and we can chat more. they do not have great px online for me to remember the fixtures, etc.
I live at Grandeville and have for almost two years. Super convenient to walk to the West shuttle lot and you can walk to St. Marys in 20 minutes or so. Love having a garage and in-unit w/d, and private entrances. I think the rooms are really large too. The management has been terrific with any needed repairs – they respond right away and take care of things, in my experience. It is pricey, IMO, but not driving every day helps make up for it. I think the utilities are quite reasonable compared to other places I've lived, and better than I expected. I don't know if they are running a special now, but when I moved in, I only paid a $99 deposit. Personally, I like the setup as I find it much more private.

Out of curiosity, what apartments did you look at? My wife and I are planning a two day trip to look at a few. Needless to say, there seems to be too many to look at. Have any that after looking yourself we should cross off our list?
