First paycheck

I just started on June 22nd and understand that the end of the pay period was June 23rd. Should I have gotten my first paycheck today?

No, the paycheck for today was based on work that occurred between 6/8/2022 and 6/21/2022. Your first day of employment was actually the start of a new pay period, therefore, in 2 weeks, you will get your first paycheck and it will be for an entire 2-week timeframe.
