New Grad RN (Rochester)

Hi all,
My name is Erika Scheel and I am a 25 years old new grad RN moving to Rochester in late July. I will be starting out in Medical Oncology in August and I am excited to meet new people and see new places! I am from Boise, Idaho but went to school in Washington. I already found housing but I'd love to make some connections and learn about the area 🙂 My background as a CNA is in Hospice and Palliative care and oncology lies close to my heart in many ways, I am excited to start this new chapter! I love to be outdoors and being active, traveling (covid willing), and finding fun new food places as I love to cook myself! Now that I am graduated NCLEX prep is my focus but afterwards I need to find some new hobbies 🙂 My boyfriend of forever is moving with me and has his graduate degree in Psychology and Criminology. We'd love to meet another couple.

Also- if anyone knows does Med Oncology wear the navy blue scrubs? I think navy is the RN color but just wondering!

Do you guys fly fish by chance?

We don't but we'd always be down to try new things. Fishing is huge in Idaho it just wasn't something our families did.

Hi Erika! I'm moving to Rochester to work in IR at St. Mary's in July. I am 31, and also looking to make friends! Maybe we can get coffee and get to know each other!
