What makes you proud to work at Mayo Clinic?

Today I was walking through the subway in Rochester to grab something to eat and overhead a patient on the phone sharing the following:

"I had a great check-up and everything is looking great!"

Even though I do not personally work in patient care, I still take great pride in working here, knowing that I may be contributing in a small way to the amazing healing, care, compassion that allows patients to share this exciting news with loved ones. This patient's excitement was genuine and it made me smile.
