Winter Sports (Rochester)

I am new to Rochester and I was thinking of a group for winter sports. Is there such a group at Mayo? BTW, is anyone aware of places -of course affordable ones!- to learn and practice winter sports like skiing, snowboarding?

Great idea ! At the same time, as they claimed they "meet sporadically, usually a few times a year". SO I think they are professional, unlike us.
Do you have more information about them?
