Can I file for tuition reimbursement while on furlough?
By now, you probably know that the Professional Development Assistance Program (PDAP) is part of the Mayo Clinic financial stabilization effort. Classes with a start date after 04/10/2020 will not be eligible for reimbursement. However, if you have a class with a start date on or before 04/10/2020, you can still submit a request for reimbursement even if you are currently on furlough.
If you have access to the Mayo Clinic intranet, the online PDAP tool is the most efficient method to submit that request. But, for those employees who are on furlough or who are working from home without access to the Mayo Clinic Intranet, follow the steps below to submit a paper claim.
- Review the PDAP policy and Supporting Documentation guide.
- Print/complete the PDAP claim form.
- Submit the claim form and supporting documentation
by e-mail to RSTMCBENEFITSPDAP@mayo.edu (Preferred method)
