Summers in Minnesota are what Midwesterners dream of. Months of extended sunny days, warm air, and a rejuvenated landscape. Research shows that summer can have a very positive impact on our mental health. However, for some, expectations and pressure of summer events, a lack of routine with school being out and planning vacations, can trigger stress and overwhelming feelings. How do we make the most of these months and not get caught up in overly scheduled days and feel out of control?
