To report cleanliness of room, equipment and furniture issues, etc., please contact your site's specific Facilities or Environmental Services department.

NWWI Infection Prevention and Control has come up with the below guidelines when rinsing/washing breast pump supplies in hand hygiene only sinks. PLEASE NOTE: these below guidelines are only for rinsing/washing breast pump supplies. No other activities other than hand hygiene should occur in hand hygiene only sinks.
- Personal Breast pump supplies can either be rinsed with water or cleaned in a basin with soap and water.
- Personal Breast Pump Supplies may be cleaned/rinsed in lactation rooms or rooms available to pump in using room sink and the following steps must occur:
- Perform hand hygiene
- Prepare necessary cleaning supplies (if cleaning parts, use a basin and warm soapy water)
- Turn on water
- Clean Breast Pump Supplies in Basin (if applicable)
- Rinse breast pump parts with water
- Discard of basin soapy water in sink (if applicable)
- Perform hand hygiene
- Apply gloves
- Disinfect counter, sink, and faucet with EPA registered hospital-grade disinfectant
- Doff gloves
- Perform hand hygiene with soap and water
