Rochester Living... Railroads in Town

Posted by megan3 @megan3, Sep 5, 2019

Hello,
I'm moving to Rochester to begin working at Mayo shortly. I'm looking at some living situations near the railroad in the East side of town. Does anyone know how often the train comes through town? Is it loud? Does it 'disturb the peace' of the neighborhoods it goes through?

Thanks!

It is pretty quiet, and I a, a restless sleeper. Our house is in that area.
I am looking for one more housemate. There are currently 2 females. I have a large room with a large bathroom you would share with one other female. We all share living room, kitchen, laundry room & sunporch. You could walk to the Mayo. but the mayo bus stops in front of the house. I am a working professional woman and the other female is a student. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to Quarryhill Park; with lots of walking/biking trails, nature center, etc. Private message me so we can discuss.
