Benefits

Do I need to go online and apply for all of my benefits before my start date? I believe the paperwork states within 31 days of hire date...would that be my start date? This site is awesome for getting answers to questions new employees may have in the very beginning! Thanks all for your prompt responses!!!

Hi @mjmcea01, glad this site was helpful for you! Great question, yes, hire date means start date. You will apply for your benefits within 31 days of your start date.

We look forward to welcoming you to Mayo Clinic soon!

You will have some time to elect which plan you want once you start and there are some online courses available to get better informed. In the meantime, there is some information in the Benefits page on this platform. Just click Learn on the navigation and go to Benefits. Hope this helps. 😀
