Spring break is coming up and we are staying home due to my eldest son's baseball practice schedule. This is a great list of things to consider when we have some hours free as a family.

Here are a couple of things to add:

Mall of America
–Nickelodeon Universe (a mini amusement park)
–SMAAASH (a virtual reality arcade, sports simulation, go-kart track)

Austin, MN Attractions:
–SPAM Museum
–Hormel Nature Center

Great ideas, @lisamsc and @transom! Other ideas within about an hour of Rochester: Frontenac State Park and Nerstrand Big Woods State Park.

Red Wing, Lake City & Stillwater are great day trips.
