Ready! We are getting pumped here in FL for the race! First time ever we are having it here in FL. Participants are excited that strollers are welcome on the course and that we will be able to have the route on our campus as it is a beautiful, green campus! Can't wait to train with you! My family and I had a great walk last night. My kids LOVED the toy soldier part of the warm up!

Great idea, Sherry. Feel free to repeat Week #1 a few weeks in a row if necessary just to start out nice and slow. I'm excited to see you are starting this journey and never give up hope that a marathon isn't possible. Good luck!

I managed to get my run done last night so far so good no excuses, even if I run in the middle of the night because I work third shift, it is cold and slippery out, so I use a treadmill instead, but I refused to make the weather or my circumstances my excuse.
If I take it easy I can get my knee used to this again.
