Does anyone commute from the twin cities. I heard there is bus line, andI was wondering how does the bus work

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the New Employee Connections group.

hey!
I am not commuting from the Twin Cities (since I am going to move to Rochester), but I have to go back and forth between the two places to take care of new employment stuff at Mayo and the transportation I use is the: Rochester shuttle service (you can search that in google)
This is the only transportation I found that would drop be off directly at Mayo, but it also costs a lot of money

@abfil48, on the following New Employee page, there is a little information about parking - https://connect.employees.mayo.edu/page/new-employee/tab/beforeday1/

Representatives will be available from 7-8 a.m. the day of orientation, to discuss long-term parking and transportation options. But why wait? Check out this video for details!

Also, once you start, the commuter bus options are subsidized and I believe you can choose a 10-ride punch pass, monthly, or annual pass option.

Hope this helps. 🙂
