Employer Paid Life Insurance Coverage
Employer paid life insurance pays a benefit equal to three times your annual salary, up to the plan’s maximum salary limit, to your designated beneficiaries in the event of your death for any cause. Mayo Clinic pays the full cost of coverage for the Employer Paid Life Insurance.
Employer Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
Employer Paid AD&D insurance pays a benefit amount equal to your annual salary, up to the plan’s maximum salary limit, to your designated beneficiaries in the event of your accidental death or a percentage of the benefit for a qualified dismemberment. Your employer pays the full cost of coverage for the Employer Paid AD&D.
