Starting small, I want to get at least one BINGO. If I find that is easy to do, maybe I will shoot for a blackout! Regardless, I am going to be more intentional about my financial wellness and I appreciate the work you all put in to make this challenge a reality. I hope to learn many new tips.

Oh, and I LOVE the theme! So clever. 🙂

I have been setting aside $30/week to use for a vacation fund. Due to some unforeseen city issues are property tax assessments got all screwed up and I ending up owing over a $1000 more just for this year. Unfortunately I had to take it out of my vacation fund but feel fortunate that I had been saving for vacation so I at least had it.

How do you actually get the Bingo stamps? Like I got an email this morning and read all the links that were included, and I posted how I was saving money, but how do you do the bingo card? I must be missing something.

Hi @karenf3481,
There are two bingo cards available to use. (See bottom of the email from today or the Employee Well-Being website). One is a printable document for people who prefer a hard copy, and the other can be saved electronically. Some people prefer one method over the other, so both are available. As you complete action items, mark a square off on the bingo card that matches the category. You can choose how you want to get bingo. If you use the electronic card, we included space so you can write what you did as a reminder. If you print a hard copy, you can mark the squares off anyway you see fit. If you'd like the bingo cards posted here, we can do that too.

And then you tell us what to do with them when it is over?

I am looking forward to this challenge! I love that it is so creative and provides options for resources based on our goal. I need to get more involved in my finances since over the years it has been my "husband's job" (but he is a financial planner)! I look forward to learning more and feeling more empowered for the future. Thanks for all the hard work the Financial Domain team put into this challenge!

This is a great challenge. I forwarded the info and attachments to my personal email so I was able to read through them last night and make out some lists/goals. Back at work, I went to read the hyperlinks in the Explore Further: Plan PDF. I wasn't able to open the one about credit scores. (Learn what steps to take to improve or maintain your credit score. Read Credit Scores (5 minutes or less).) Anyone else unable to open it?

Hi @tnauman,
So glad to hear you are enjoying the challenge and are setting yourself up for success! That is great news! In regard to the Credit Score document, we aren't sure what happened with the link that was sent through the email, but we were able to verify that the link in the Explore Further: Plan PDF on the website is working correctly.
Here are 2 links that will get you to the same location. The hyperlink in this document should work correctly. Use the link that works best for you.
1. Explore Further PDF: http://intranet.mayo.edu/charlie/well-being/files/2018/10/Explore-Further-Plan.pdf?1
2. Bank It or Plank It: Financial Bingo website (scroll down to the document located near the center of the page): http://intranet.mayo.edu/charlie/well-being/programming-and-events/bank-it-or-plank-it-financial-bingo/

Wishing you smooth sailing ahead!
